Zion Shockley - Rosalie Shockley

18 year old Zion Isaiah Shockley shared custody of his daughter Rosalie Faith Crothers-Shockley (pictured in his arms in a profile photo) with her mother (currently unnamed).

On February 10, 2018, he was the primary guardian/caretaker of his infant daughter when police officers responded to a call at 524 E. Harmony street.  Officers found 5 month old Rosalie in cardiac arrest.  Rosalie died at DuPont Hospital for children on February 12, 2018.

Her examination revealed she was bleeding on the brain and from her eyes which is consistent with head trauma from recent and ongoing abuse.  A press release from District Attorney Hogan states, "Investigative findings showed that the child had suffered abusive head trauma on multiple occasions resulting in death".

Hogan also stated that Roasalie's mother, "did everything she could to protect her child".

Police Officers arrested Zion Shockley for the murder of his daughter, Rosalie. Shockley admitted he was playing a game of Call of Duty on February 10, when other online players began to mock him.  He became so enraged that he attacked his own infant daughter.  He admitted to shaking, throwing and dropping the infant, causing her death.

Shockley also admitted to shaking his infant daughter after losing his temper to a video game around Christmas of 2017.

Shockley was charged with first degree murder and other related charges.  He is currently being held in Chester County Prison without bail.
